Revising is hard. Really hard. I keep reminding myself that this hard work will pay off, that it will make the story better, that rewriting with more purpose makes me a better writer. But…I’ve been working on the same scene for days. So much second guessing goes into my revising work. But today I thoughtwhat exactly am I trying to do here?Silly, I know. I’d thought that before, sat and thought, but today I made a list. Oh, the power of lists! It’s still not quite right, but it’s better… I think? I’m pretty sure it’s better.
